No — Holy Gels are made from real gel, so they should be trimmed and filed to match the length of your natural nail. Leaving them longer can affect how well they adhere and how long they last.

The good news is that Holy Gels help protect your natural nails while you wear them, so many customers find their nails grow longer and stronger underneath. With regular use, you’ll be able to enjoy longer natural nails in no time. 💅

When applied and removed properly, Holy Gels are gentle on your natural nails.

Unlike traditional gel treatments that can weaken nails over time, Holy Gels give you a flawless gel manicure without the damage.

They last 2-3 weeks per set if full application steps are adhered to correctly.

Yes. Choose a slightly smaller size and gently stretch the wrap to fit. This works best if you warm it first by rubbing it between your hands or placing it under your leg for a moment, which makes the gel more flexible and easier to mould to your nail.

Yes, absolutely. Cuticle oil can be used while wearing Holy Gels and is a great way to keep your cuticles and surrounding skin hydrated.

Just make sure your Holy Gels are applied correctly — with no gaps, bubbles, or contact with the skin or cuticle. When applied properly, using cuticle oil around the nail area won’t affect the wear or longevity of your Holy Gels.

Yes. Holy Gels are durable and water-resistant once fully cured, making them perfect for beach holidays.

They’re designed to last up to 3 weeks, so you can enjoy swimming, sunshine, and sand without worrying about chips or constant touch-ups. For best results, just make sure they’re applied properly and allow around 3 hours after application before water exposure.

The semi-cured wraps are single use only, and should be discarded once removed.

Yes. Once fully applied and cured, Holy Gels are water-resistant and can be worn in the bath or shower as normal.

For the best results, we recommend waiting around 3 hours after application before exposing your nails to water so the gel has time to fully set and adhere to the nail.

Not suitable for young children, but can be used on teenagers with parents discretion.

Not at all.
Holy Gels are designed to be beginner-friendly, so anyone can apply them with ease and achieve a flawless, salon-quality finish.

Some customers choose to use leftover wraps from their manicure if they find sizes that fit their toenails and it works.

However, these wraps aren’t specifically designed for toes.

For the best fit and longest wear, we recommend using our dedicated toe sets, which are made specifically for toenail shapes and sizes.

I am a postie so have hard working hands that go through a lot each day! I love holy gels I was fed up with nail varnish chipping and never lasting. I tried holy gels and fell in love with the designs and how well they last.

Love these, my nails don’t do well with normal gel manicures, but these are so gentle to remove with the cuticle oil. Only on my second set, but both times have lasted two weeks, only removed because my nails are growing so fast.

These are the easiest to apply, they look great and last 2 to 3 weeks. This is my third set of this colour. I get lots of comments from people about how nice they look.

I wore this set ‘ Sea Breeze’ for my holiday to Portugal. The photo doesn’t do the colours justice! They’re so pretty. I was expecting orange and gold/yellow but they’re more coral blending into a peachy colour. I loved them and have ordered another set for my next holiday! They should have been called Sex on the Beach because they look like the cocktail. They stayed on and survived all the sun cream and oils I was using. Then another week when I got back. They could have lasted longer but I was excited to use another set.

Lucianne G. 5/5 Verified June 6, 2026

Omg love these gel nails this is my second set that is due for a redo but these have lasted over 2 weeks and I’m so in love with the summer vibes and the quality is amazing. Protects my nails and allows them to grow, without me picking at them and they are extra strong too no more nail shops for me!!!! But I’m a little cheeky I set does my nails 2 and can use off cuts for my toes which have lasted 3.5 weeks (by the way) so value for money right there!!! 1 sheet of nail wrap = 2 nail sets and 1 set of toes!!! = very happy me!!!!

I'm loving the choice of colours and designs and being able to change my nails more often than when I went to a salon. Holy Gels are giving my nails the chance to grow back healthy after salon damage. The starter kit gave me the tools I needed to have pretty nails at anytime, from the comfort of my sofa but also compact enough to take on a trip. Happy!

I had to have my gel nails removed ahead of an operation so tried Holy Gels for the first time. They were amazing and still going strong nearly 3 weeks later when I had to remove them for my op. My nails had grown beautifully in that time and post op I decided just to apply nail strengthener going forward. In the 2 weeks since then my nails have started breaking again so this morning I applied my second set of Holy Gels and was thrilled at how easy I found it second time round. I'm definitely a convert!

I love these, I have grown my nails lovely and long and they are easy to do once you get the hang of it. Taking the time to make sure they are stick right down before curing means they last over 2 weeks without shifting! This colour looks gorgeous and stays vibrant for weeks. I have been using Holygels for a few months now and I love them! Some seem to last longer than others but I get at least 2 weeks out of a set and some could be 3 weeks! It depends on the style I choose, weird but true. I wouldn’t go back to acrylics again. My own nails are so much better with Holygels, I get to see them whereas with acrylics I don’t see my own nails for months and months.
